Web page design by Dylan Paul

(EXAMPLES AT THE BOTTOM... SKIP AHEAD IF YOU'RE HERE FOR THOSE)

So you're probably aware at this point that I'm a professional stage actor, right? OK, so I am... Regardless, while I was hopping around the coutry doing regional theatre, I decided to learn web design, and I think I'm pretty good at it for a specific client. Since you're looking at my webpage it's likely that you're in the arts industry- so you most likely qualify. What I offer is specific and while I can do other things, this is the basic pitch:

-If you're an actor, model, musician, theatre or production co. I will build you a website for under $200.

-I'm happy to do more corporate or small business sites, usually they're $200 EXAMPLE HERE

-The page can have flash and java elements, photo and multimedia galleries, etc. Yes, $200 is inexpensive.

-The more work and advanced elements involved, the higher the cost. But yes, under $200 is realistic.

-I like "classy" semi minimalist designs. Please do not ask me to make a trashy obnoxious page.

-While each case is individual your page will generally have no more than 6 categories. i.e. home, bio, etc.

-I generally design a logo of sorts (text oriented and not too crazy). I view it as an important web element and won't charge you more for that.

-I do not charge hourly. We will discuss the project and come to a quote at our first meeting.

-I do not buy your webspace. I don't know why you would think that... but no.

-Generally my turn around time is determined by your ability to give me content.

-I showcase your content... which means you should have content and provide it to me- things like bios, audio clips (in MP3 format), videos (in the correct format), etc. are not my responsibility- please don't ask me to proof your copy or edit/convert/vertically align your audio/video/images/etc unless you desperately want to pay me more. which I'm cool with and I can certainly do.

-I require a 50% payment up front and a 50% payment upon completion of the project for new clients. Generally that means $75-100 to start the site and $75-100 when I've finished the site.

-If you want a shopping cart & online store please click here for more information

-I've now started doing blogs that fit pretty seamlessly into sites. It took me a while, but if you would like one added where you manage your own content entirely, it is a $30 charge and you could do press releases, display new artwork, etc.

-I will not redirect your domain to your hosting or rename your name servers. It REALLY annoys me. You need to give me the FTP I can load the page to along with the FTP username and password. Fin.

-If you need me to update the page I generally charge 10% of the initial fee. Sometimes I just ask for you to buy me a coffee. But really, I don't drink a lot of coffee.

-Please note, if I build a site and then you continue to update your galleries, your bio, etc. for several days after the site is built, it means that you're getting updates... because it wasn't something that I made an error on. This is not cool. I'll let you get away with this... once? Maybe? Jerk. But seriously, when the site is built, you need to chill out and pay me for the work I've done.

-So, did I mention you have to pay me? Because you do...So if I've built you a webpage and you don't pay me, I have to take the page down, which is a huge waste of my time and not cool of you... at all.

-Please don't be creepy.

If this sounds like something that you're interested in, then feel free to look at a few samples below. Thanks.
